Text Messaging Program

TeleHeadache LLC sends text messages to patients and staff who agree to receive them. This page describes our text messaging program and how to opt in and out.

What we send

  • Sign-in verification codes, when you sign in to the TeleHeadache patient portal
  • Appointment reminders, before a scheduled telemedicine visit
  • Account notifications, such as a new message waiting in your portal

We never send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

How you opt in

You agree to receive text messages when you add your mobile number in the TeleHeadache patient portal (portal.teleheadache.com) and tick the consent box shown below. The box is unchecked until you tick it, and we do not send any text, including the verification code, until you do.

The consent statement reads:

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with your account activity: for example, one code each time you sign in and up to three reminders for each scheduled appointment.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages from TeleHeadache. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts. You can also turn text messages off in the portal under My Account → Preferences. After you opt out, sign-in codes are sent by email instead.

Help
